Former Partizan player Jabari Parker seems to have rediscovered his rhythm after moving to Joventut, and his current teammate Adam Hanga had nothing but praise for the American.
Jabari Parker has started his stint with Joventut – and his return to Spain – in great fashion. After a very disappointing spell at Partizan and a surprisingly poor run of form, Parker found a new opportunity, at least temporarily, joining Joventut on loan, to the satisfaction of both sides.
He scored 13 points in his debut against Granada, while in the FIBA Basketball Champions League game against Wurzburg he added 15 points, playing a key role in the victory.
That knee of Jabari Parker seems to have been through a lot. 🫡🤕💔

Joventut will next face Barcelona on the road in Round 22 of the Liga Endesa, and Adam Hanga – a former player of Crvena Zvezda, Barcelona and Real Madrid among others – previewed the matchup for the club’s official website. He also spoke about Jabari Parker:
“Jabari has so much quality that he adapts very easily to any team and situation. He is a very intelligent player who reads the game very well. He wants to play, he really wants to play. Parker is going to do everything possible to win – he has told me that he wants to win. He is an extraordinary player and also a great person. He will be key for us in the future.”
Speaking about Joventut’s season, the Hungarian international added:
“We have great potential and a lot of quality, but that does not win titles on its own. We have to work day by day and I think we can achieve it. Everyone knows that we want to win the FIBA Champions League and finish among the top four in the Liga Endesa.”
Joventut currently sits seventh in the Liga Endesa standings with a 13–8 record, while Barcelona is third at 15–6. Their clash in Badalona – which will also be a special game for Jabari Parker – is scheduled for Sunday at 19:00.
Aleksej Pokusevski opens up about Jabari Parker’s exit from Partizan
🗣️ On the court it did not look right, neither for us nor for him, and that eventually led to him leaving the club. I wish him all the best.
