Andrew Wiggins, a forward for the Golden State Warriors, wants to be on Jordi Fernandez’s roster for the Olympic Games in Paris.
The Canadian desires to represent his country, which will be making its first appearance at the Olympic Games since 2000. Canada won a bronze medal at this year’s FIBA World Cup, but Wiggins didn’t participate. The former first overall draft pick had this to say about the matter:
“I would love to play next year. I believe our chances are more than good, and we have a great team,” Andrew Wiggins said briefly.
