Aris have continued building one of the most ambitious EuroCup rosters of the offseason by signing veteran point guard Stefan Jovic on a 1+1 contract.
The 35-year-old arrives after spending last season with Bayern, bringing years of EuroLeague experience and leadership to a Greek team that has made several major additions this summer.
Stefan Jovic arrives after Bayern season
Jovic spent the previous campaign with Bayern, where he competed in both the EuroLeague and Bundesliga.
In the EuroLeague, the Serbian guard appeared in 19 games, averaging 5.3 points and 4.3 assists per contest.
In the Bundesliga, he played nine games and recorded 6.8 points, 5 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game.
His ability to control the pace, create for teammates and provide veteran leadership was one of the main reasons Aris decided to add him ahead of their EuroCup campaign.

A career built around EuroLeague experience
The Serbian guard has built a long European career, representing several major clubs across the continent.
Before joining Aris, Jovic played for Valencia from 2023 to 2025, Zaragoza during the 2022/23 season, Panathinaikos in 2022, Khimki Moscow from 2019 to 2021, and Bayern between 2017 and 2019.
Earlier in his career, he established himself as one of the best Serbian guards in Europe while playing for Crvena Zvezda from 2014 to 2017, after beginning his professional career with Radnicki Kragujevac and Sloga.
His experience in the EuroLeague, combined with his ability to control the tempo and create opportunities for teammates, makes him an important addition for Aris.
Aris continue building ambitious EuroCup project
Jovic is another major addition for an Aris team that has been extremely active during the offseason.
The Greek club has already brought in several proven names, including former Fenerbahce center Khem Birch, NBA forwards E.J. Liddell and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Virtus guard Matt Morgan, Kostas Antetokounmpo, and Bayern point guard Nenad Dimitrijevic.
Interestingly, Jovic will reunite with Dimitrijevic, who was his teammate in Munich last season.
With the arrival of another experienced EuroLeague player, Aris have made it clear that their ambitions in the EuroCup are much higher than simply participating. The club is building a roster with the goal of competing against some of the strongest teams in European basketball.
