Kevarrius Hayes, who spent last season in Paris, has officially become a member of Monaco, the club announced today.
The player had several offers on the table, as anticipated by Basketball Sphere and in the end he accepted the offer from Monaco.
Kevarrius Hayes had offers from Monaco, Olympiacos and Paris, the team with which he won the championship in France this season.
After thinking over the last few weeks, Hayes accepted the offer from Monaco, two-year contract for him.
Last season, Hayes played 38 EuroLeague games for Paris, averaging 6.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. However, his main strength is his outstanding defense, which is where he contributes the most to the team.
Before Paris, the 28-year-old Hayes also played for Zalgiris, Bursa, Asvel, and Cantu. He declared for the 2019 NBA Draft but was not selected by any team.
This way, the departures from Paris continue this summer. Before Hayes, the club saw T.J. Shorts, Mikael Jantunen, and Tyson Ward leave, and more departures are expected.
