Asvel has officially announced Bastien Vautier as their third signing of the summer. The 26-year-old center spent last season with Cholet.
Before bringing in Vautier, Asvel had already secured two other players: Zac Seljaas from Wurzburg and Bodian Massa, who arrived after a season with Manresa.

Cholet was one of the pleasant surprises in the LNB Pro A last season, finishing the regular season in an impressive fourth place. Vautier played a key role in their success, averaging 11.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.3 assists over 26 games.
Prior to joining Cholet, the French big man also played for Le Portel, Lille, Quimper, Nancy, and Caen.
Clearly, Asvel faces a major rebuilding task this summer, having already seen key departures including Theo Maledon, Joffrey Lauvergne, Charles Kahudi, Paris Lee, and Neal Sako.
