Even though they made a lot of changes at the beginning of the season, No. 20 Auburn still looks as fresh as ever. With Kevin Overton and Keyshawn Hall dominating, they managed to pull away with another big win in the ACC/SEC Challenge over NC State at the Neville Arena – 83:73.
This was another big test for the Tigers. They produced some great minutes in the Players Era Tournament last week in Las Vegas against Oregon and St. John’s with the only loss coming to Michigan.
And they didn’t disappoint their fans on Wednesday either. With Filip Jovic back from a wrist injury, everything looked far more composed in the paint for the Tigers. Although the Serbian only ended the game with two points and five rebounds, he had +22 when he was on the court, which tells a lot.

Auburn even managed to extend the lead to 12 points against NC State after another jumper scored by Kaden Magwood. But, that is when the Wolfpack managed to wake up and to make a 13-0 run to even take the lead.
Things weren’t looking so pretty in those moments for Auburn, but they still managed to be in the lead at halftime with the score 41-35.
