With only three matches remaining on their schedule, Auckland are currently sitting in second place in the standings – they need to keep winning to preserve their status in the top 2, which guarantees a direct berth in the playoff semi-final.
The hosts will certainly be without Chris Johnson today, while their other center Rob Loe is questionable due to a thumb injury, which has been an issue for him for years now.
