Bradley Beal, the Clippers’ star, has suffered an injury that marks the end of his NBA season, reports Shams Charania of ESPN.
Bradley Beal sustained a hip fracture and will be out for the remainder of the season, according to ESPN.
“We met with numerous doctors and specialists around the country in collaboration with the entire Clippers medical staff over the last few days, and came to the unanimous decision that surgery will allow Brad to have a full and complete recovery,” Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports told ESPN.
In six games this season wearing the Clippers jersey, Beal averaged 8.2 points per game, showing a clear decline in his performance.
At one point in his career, Beal was among the highest-paid players in the league, but his decline began after moving from the Trail Blazers to the Suns.
