Bahcesehir officially announced its cooperation with Serbian coach Aleksandar Djordjevic a few days ago, and now the club has completed its first renewal.
During the recently concluded season, Bahcesehir, the youngest club in Istanbul, was led by Marko Barac, but reaching the EuroCup semifinals and the Turkish Super League semifinals was not enough to satisfy the club’s management.
One Serbian coach has been replaced by another, as Aleksandar Djordjevic has taken over the bench and will lead the Turkish club starting next season.
After resolving the situation on the sidelines, it was time to build the roster, and the first one to get their contract renewed was center Trevion Williams, according to Eurohoops.
The 25-year-old center, who previously played for Alba Berlin and Maccabi Tel Aviv, has earned the trust placed in him and will continue his collaboration with Bahcesehir.
In the Eurocup, he averaged 11.1 points and 8.6 rebounds over 21 games, while in the Turkish Super League he posted 10.9 points and nine rebounds in around 22 minutes per game.
