Barcelona is set to sign Dimitris Itoudis as the new head coach of the team, reports Sport24.
Dimitris Itoudis‘ last job was as the head coach of Fenerbahce, where he was replaced by Sarunas Jasikevicius during the season.
The current head coach of the Catalan team is Roger Grimau, who failed to lead Barcelona to the EuroLeague Final Four. Given the current shape of Real Madrid, the chances of winning the Liga Endesa are slim, while the Copa Del Rey also did not end up in their hands.
During his coaching career, Dimitris Itoudis has managed PAOK, Philippos, MENT, Banvit, CSKA, and Fenerbahce. He has worked as an assistant in Zagreb, Panionios, and Panathinaikos.
