Last season, Jessup played 18 games for Ulm in the EuroCup, averaging 13 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists. He also posted solid numbers in the Bundesliga, averaging 11.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists over 44 games.
He drew public attention during the Bundesliga Finals, delivering some standout performances – ironically, against Bayern. However, it wasn’t enough for Ulm to claim the title, as they lost the series 3-2.
Before joining Ulm, Jessup also played for the New Zealand Breakers, Zaragoza, and Illawarra Hawks. He entered the NBA Draft in 2020 and was selected by the Golden State Warriors with the 51st overall pick.
Before Jessup, Bayern had brought in only Wenyen Gabriel from Panathinaikos. On the other hand, the club has so far parted ways with Devin Booker, Ivan Kharchenkov, and Danko Brankovic.
