Just a few hours after Sertac Sanli left Dubai, Besiktas officially announced his signing.
In this way, Besiktas has significantly strengthened its roster in just a few days, having previously signed Matt Thomas from Granada, while at the center position they added the experienced Turkish international and two-time EuroLeague champion with Anadolu Efes and Fenerbahce.
Sertac Sanli left Fenerbahce earlier this season and moved to Dubai, but he struggled for playing time in a highly competitive environment.
In the Euroleague, he averaged 2.4 points and 1.0 rebounds in seven appearances, all from the bench.
In recent games, he received minimal minutes and was even left off the roster at times, fueling speculation about a potential return to Turkey.
