Crvena Zvezda vs Monaco Preview
Crvena Zvezda lost to Dubai on Tuesday in Round 10 of the EuroLeague, bringing an end to their seven-game winning streak in the competition. The bad luck started even before tip-off, as Chima Moneke was injured during warmups. Together with Codi Miller-McIntyre, Moneke was the team’s most important player in recent weeks. In his absence, Semi Ojeleye had more room and delivered one of his best performances for the Belgrade club, but the lack of rotation became evident in the second half when the energy levels dropped. Miller-McIntyre missed a large number of shots, and head coach Sasa Obradovic received almost nothing from Yago dos Santos. On top of that, Jared Butler struggled with foul trouble and therefore could not play more than 11 minutes.
All things considered, the fact that Crvena Zvezda managed to string together seven straight victories is impressive given how many injuries they have dealt with. They pushed through all of that, but at some point the run was bound to stop. What matters now is that this loss does not shake them too much and that their full focus shifts toward Monaco. The status of Ebuka Izundu remains questionable. He was Crvena Zvezda’s best player in Dubai but also landed awkwardly in the second half, suffering an injury that could potentially sideline him. Compared to the Dubai matchup, Crvena Zvezda will undoubtedly have far more energy and urgency against Monaco, especially with 20,000 supporters behind them — an enormous boost in their current injury crisis.
Monaco played one of the most unbelievable games of the season in Round 10 of the EuroLeague. Early in the fourth quarter, they trailed against Partizan 74–54 and nothing suggested they could bring the game to a close finish, let alone take the lead. But basketball showed once again why it’s the most unpredictable sport in the world. Monaco went on a 22–0 run to take a 76–74 lead with two minutes to go. Still, Partizan stayed calm in the final possessions and regained control through Aleksej Pokusevski and Bruno Fernando, winning 78–76. The loss dropped Monaco to 6–4, and it should be noted that Mike James picked up his fourth foul late in the first half, forcing him to play cautiously after the break.
Despite that defeat in the first of two games in Belgrade this week, head coach Vassilis Spanoulis has reasons to be encouraged. Every coach loves seeing his team refuse to quit when down by 20 in the fourth quarter, and Monaco not only responded — they nearly completed a full comeback. Another positive sign for Spanoulis was the strong performance from Nikola Mirotic, who had been in a slump recently. He finished with 17 points and was Monaco’s top scorer. The real issue was the lack of scoring help, which is why Monaco found themselves in such a deep hole to begin with. Besides Mirotic, the only double-figure scorers were the previously mentioned James and Alpha Diallo, both with 13 points.

Crvena Zvezda vs Monaco Best Betting Tip and Prediction
Considering the current injury situation, it is remarkable how well Crvena Zvezda are performing. The problem is that a short rotation always carries consequences, and they now come into this matchup after a demanding and complicated trip to Dubai. Monaco, meanwhile, have already been in Belgrade for several days and will be fully motivated after losing to Partizan on Tuesday.
