Braian Angola, Asvel’s guard, delivered a fantastic performance on the road against Anadolu Efes and was named the EuroLeague Round 30 MVP.
The Colombian, who only recently made his EuroLeague debut after joining Asvel, led the French team to a victory over Anadolu Efes in Istanbul (91–88).
He finished the game with 26 points, along with four rebounds, two assists, nine fouls drawn, while shooting 4/7 from two-point range, 3/6 from beyond the arc, and 9/11 from the free-throw line, recording a performance index rating of 28.
Only his seventh EuroLeague game and he is the MVP of the Round winner 👏@Bangola11 with a career-high night in points as he helped @LDLCASVEL get the W in Istanbul!

Anadolu Efes guard Saben Lee posted a higher performance index rating (29), but since his team lost, the MVP award went to Angola. Interestingly, Chima Moneke of Crvena Zvezda also had a performance index rating of 28, but his team suffered a home defeat to Bayern Munich (80–85).
Carsen Edwards of Virtus Bologna and Moses Wright of Zalgiris both recorded a performance index rating of 27, rounding out the Top 5 performances of Round 30.
In the next EuroLeague round, Asvel will travel to face Paris. However, this recognition may not mean too much for Braian Angola, as his team still remains stuck at the bottom of the EuroLeague standings.
