Cedi Osman, basketball player of Panathinaikos, has received an offer to leave the club this summer, according to Turkish media reports.
Cedi Osman has already spent two seasons in Athens, where he has been representing Panathinaikos, but he could now strengthen Anadolu Efes, who have reportedly submitted an offer.
It is stated that the Turkish forward is open to a departure, and contact with his former team has already been established.
“After the departure of Ergin Ataman from Panathinaikos, Osman is also on the verge of leaving the Athens club. Anadolu Efes is expected to pay buyout compensation to Panathinaikos, after which the transfer should be officially confirmed,” writes Turkish outlet Fanatik.
The forward spent many years playing for Anadolu Efes, where he developed as a player. From 2011 to 2017, he was in Istanbul before moving directly to the NBA.
He then spent six seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers, followed by one season with the San Antonio Spurs, before returning to Europe and signing for Panathinaikos.
With Ergin Ataman having left Athens, with whom Cedi Osman has an excellent relationship, a return to Turkey is no longer considered impossible.
