Chris Duarte, the former NBA player, has officially signed with Unicaja, the Spanish club announced.
The Malaga-based club has officially brought in Chris Duarte, once a respected NBA player, who spent the end of last season playing in Puerto Rico for Vaqueros de Bayamon. Duarte signed a two-year contract with Unicaja.

Claim Now Duarte performed impressively there, averaging 20.2 points, five assists, and 5.1 rebounds over 26 games.
During the same season, he also appeared in 17 NBA games for the Chicago Bulls, where his role was much smaller, averaging 2.1 points and 1.2 rebounds per game.
Duarte entered the NBA in 2021, drafted 13th overall by the Indiana Pacers. In his rookie season, he played a significant role, averaging over 13 points per game, but over time his role diminished. He later joined the Sacramento Kings in 2023 and had a stint with the Bulls, but things didn’t quite click, leading Duarte to decide it was time to try his luck in Europe.
