Cluj/Napoca has become very active on the transfer market, and in a major way. The Romanian team left a very strong impression in its debut season in the ABA League, and now it is aiming for even more. After signing Otis Livingston and Bogdan Nicolescu, it is time for the third new addition to the Transylvanian side.
Cluj/Napoca has officially announced the signing of Jaylin McCreary.
He is a player who can operate at the wing, power forward, and center positions. Last season, he played with great success for Siroki. The American helped the Bosnian club win the ABA 2 League, where he was named Finals MVP, while averaging 16.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.
What stood out most last season were his highlight dunks, which often lifted the crowd, but there is no doubt that playing in the EuroCup with Cluj/Napoca will represent a significant step up compared to Siroki.
Bogdan Nicolescu is the first new addition to the team. The 29-year-old Romanian forward arrives from CSM CSU Raiffeisen Oradea, where he spent his entire professional career until now.
Born on January 3, 1997, in Bucharest, Nicolescu began his professional career in 2015 with Oradea. Between 2015 and 2026, he played 502 games for the club, helping them win three Romanian League titles in 2016, 2018, and 2019, as well as the Romanian SuperCup in 2019. He was also part of the team that finished third in the 2020/21 FIBA Europe Cup.
In the recently completed season, Nicolescu played 12 European games in the FIBA Europe Cup, along with 41 domestic appearances (38 in the Romanian League and 3 in the Romanian Cup). Overall, he has also played 46 games for the Romanian senior national team, where he currently serves as captain.

Before joining the senior national team, Nicolescu was a key member of Romania’s historic U20 generation, which won the gold medal at the 2017 FIBA U20 European Championship Division B in Oradea.
Cluj/Napoca have also signed Otis Livingston II as their new point guard for the 2026/27 season. The American playmaker arrives from Girona, where he competed in the Spanish Liga Endesa.
Livingston II was born on October 12, 1996, in Linden, New Jersey. He played college basketball at George Mason University from 2015 to 2019, appearing in 132 games for the George Mason Patriots. He finished his college career ranked 4th in school history in points scored and 2nd in assists.
After college, Livingston II began his professional career in Denmark with Horsens IC, before continuing in North Macedonia and Serbia with Kumanovo and Mladost Zemun. He later moved to Germany, where he played for Crailsheim, Medi Bayreuth, and Würzburg.
His breakout season came in 2023/24 with Wurzburg, where he averaged 20.5 points, 5.4 assists, and a 21 efficiency rating. He was named BBL MVP and Best Offensive Player, while helping his team reach the semifinals.
Livingston II later played for Galatasaray in Turkey, reaching the FIBA Champions League final, before moving to Girona. In the 2025/26 Liga Endesa season, he averaged 13 points, 5.1 assists, and an 11.7 efficiency rating across 34 games.
