Crvena Zvezda has officially announced the signing of a senior contract with young prospect Lazar Stojkovic.
The Serbian powerhouse confirmed the move in a brief statement, highlighting the club’s ongoing strategy of investing in the country’s brightest young talents.
“KK Crvena Zvezda continues its commitment to providing opportunities for the most promising young players. Following in the footsteps of Topic and Kostic, we are pleased to welcome Lazar Stojkovic to the senior team,” the club said.
At just 18 years old, Stojkovic is already showing immense potential. Standing at 2.12 meters, the towering center has been a key figure for BKK Radnicki, where he gained valuable senior-level experience last season. Stojkovic also represented Crvena Zvezda during the EuroLeague qualification tournament, showcasing his talent on an international stage.
Regarded as one of the most talented young players in Europe in his age group, Stojkovic is also a junior national team member for Serbia. With his combination of size, skill, and basketball IQ, many are already tipping him for a bright future at both the domestic and international levels.
The signing is another significant step for Crvena Zvezda, which has a long-standing reputation for developing top-tier basketball talent. As the club continues to invest in its youth program, Stojkovic’s addition to the senior roster signals their ambition to remain at the forefront of European basketball.
Fans can expect big things from this rising star as he takes the next step in his promising career.
