Darius Thompson has finally changed teams after several days of drama and has officially become a new Valencia player.
Although he was still under contract with Anadolu Efes, it was clear that he would be leaving. Valencia ultimately paid a €600,000 buyout, according to Aris Barkas, and offered him a new three-year deal worth a staggering €9.5 million.
The entire situation was complicated by Baskonia, which in the end was not able to match the offer, as reported by Kiroleros of Radio Marca Vitoria.
