Good news are coming for the Kansas Jayhawks fans regarding Darryn Peterson and his injury that kept him out of the court for a pretty long time.
It seems like Jayhawks are going to enjoy his game again in the game against Missouri, as he has now fully recovered from the injury that kept him out for seven straight games.
Kansas Jayhawks coach, Bill Self told the media before the game against UConn that Peterson is a “day-to-day” decision and that “he is still not 100 percent”.

But things have changed in the last couple of days. Coach Bill Self told the media on Friday that Darryn Peterson has recovered from the injury and that he has been in the scrimmages with the team during the last 48 hours. He also noted that Kansas player will be available to play against Missouri.
“Yeah, he’s practiced for the last two days, so he should be available, unless there is a setback. But, we are approaching it like he is available”.

Speaking about if he is happy to have Darryn Peterson back, coach Bill Self underlined the motivation he had to get back on the court.
“I mean he is great and he has tried his ass off to get back sooner. If there wasn’t for his four times a day treatment, maybe he would be out for even longer. So, I’m really looking forward to having him out there”.
Darryn Peterson had an average of 21,5 points per game in two matches he played this season. He also had 3,5 rebounds with 3,0 assists.
No. 21 Kansas will go up against Missouri on Sunday, December 7 at 1 pm ET.
