Dubai has reached an agreement with French guard Elie Okobo on a multi-year contract.
The 28-year-old arrives in Dubai as the reigning LNB Pro A MVP after helping Monaco win the domestic championship last season.
Okobo spent the previous four seasons (2022-26) with Monaco, following a one-year stint with fellow French club Asvel (2021/22), and becomes the latest addition to Dubai roster ahead of the 2026/27 season.

EuroLeague experience
Okobo arrives in Dubai with extensive experience at the highest level of European basketball.
The 1.91-meter guard has played 182 EuroLeague games during his career, averaging 12.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
He joins Dubai after one of the best seasons of his career, being named both the 2025/26 LNB Pro A MVP and the league’s Finals MVP. During the same campaign, he also recorded a career-high 4.9 assists per game.
One of his standout performances came against Paris in December 2025, when he finished with 26 points, four rebounds, and a season-high PIR of 39.
Elite offensive talent
Okobo joins Dubai in his prime as a highly skilled offensive player, known for his creativity with the ball and his ability to impact games in multiple ways.
He is capable of creating scoring opportunities from anywhere on the court, both for himself and for his teammates.
Before his four-year stint with Monaco, Okobo spent the 2021/22 season with Asvel, where he continued developing into one of the leading guards in both the EuroLeague and LNB Pro A.
