Virtus will host Dubai in the 14th round of the EuroLeague. Coach Dusko Ivanovic and Matt Morgan shared their expectations ahead of the game.
First, Virtus head coach Dusko Ivanovic commented on the upcoming game:
“After this short break, we are resuming our European campaign against a team new to the EuroLeague, but whose players already have a solid level of experience. For this match, we will really need the support of our fans, as we are returning to Virtus Arena — a new venue for many of our players. Tomorrow night, we will truly need a lot of support from our fans.” – said coach Ivanovic.
Virtus guard Matt Morgan believes that focus is the key factor:
“I’m very excited to return to Virtus Arena, especially to see our fans again after last season. Dubai is a strong team, so we’ll need to stay focused, paying close attention to the pace of the game and its ups and downs. We’ll be facing a team with both solid big men and excellent guards. They play tough and fast, so we’ll have to do what we do best, especially since we’re playing at home and want to continue our winning streak. To achieve that, we’ll need to play at our very best.” – he concluded.
