Edwin Jackson, the player of Asvel, suffered an injury in the game against Bayern during EuroLeague Round 7.
According to the French outlet Le Progres, Edwin Jackson will be out for six to eight weeks, which means he might be done for the calendar year.
This will be a significant setback for Pierric Poupet’s team, as Jackson has been an important part of the rotation so far this season. In six LNB Pro A games, he has averaged 11.2 points, while in the EuroLeague, he averaged 6.3 points over seven games.
This is just a continuation of Asvel’s major injury troubles at the start of the season, as Joffrey Lauvergne, Paris Lee, Melvin Ajinca, Mbaye Ndiaye, and Tarik Black have all been injured so far.
Asvel currently has a record of two wins and five losses in the EuroLeague, while in LNB Pro A, they stand at 5-2.
