The EuroCup has officially announced the schedule for the 2026/27 season, revealing the opening matchups, new competition format and all participating teams.
The upcoming campaign will bring several changes compared to previous years, including a completely new group structure and a number of new clubs joining the competition.
Bourg will enter the season as the defending champion after winning the title last year by defeating Besiktas 2-0 in the Finals.
However, despite reaching the final, Besiktas will not defend its EuroCup run, as the Turkish club secured promotion to the EuroLeague. Meanwhile, Monaco, who previously competed at the highest European level, will return to the EuroCup this season.
EuroCup introduces new competition format
The biggest change for the 2026/27 season comes in the format of the competition.
Instead of the previous structure, EuroCup will feature four groups with eight teams each.
The top four teams from every group will advance to the knockout stage, meaning 16 clubs will continue their journey in the Round of 16.
This format is designed to increase the importance of every regular-season game and create more high-level matchups throughout the campaign.
The calendar is set, the stage is ready. 🗓️🔥
