TOP STORY: Bayern land former NBA first-round pick MarJon Beauchamp
Bayern have added another intriguing piece to their roster for the 2026-27 EuroLeague season, reaching an agreement with former NBA first-round pick MarJon Beauchamp. The 25-year-old American arrives in Germany after four seasons in the NBA and will get his first opportunity to establish himself in European basketball.
Beauchamp was selected 24th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2022 NBA Draft after playing for the NBA G League Ignite. He made 132 appearances for Milwaukee and also featured for the Los Angeles Clippers, New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers, bringing valuable NBA experience to Bayern ahead of the new campaign.
His most productive stretch last season came in the G League with the Delaware Blue Coats, where he averaged 23.8 points per game while shooting 37.2% from three-point range across 24 appearances. Beauchamp also played 14 games for the 76ers as a two-way player, averaging 6.8 points.
TRANSFERS & MOVES: Asvel, Paris and Valencia make EuroLeague moves
Asvel have signed Nate Sestina on a one-year deal, adding experienced forward ahead of the 2026-27 EuroLeague season. The 29-year-old American previously played for Fenerbahce, Valencia and Milano.
Sestina spent part of last season with Milano, where an arm injury limited him to 10 EuroLeague appearances. He now gets a fresh opportunity with Asvel under Tony Parker.
Frank Ntilikina has officially joined Paris after leaving reigning EuroLeague champions Olympiacos. The French guard returns home after one season in Piraeus, where he struggled to establish a consistent role. The move keeps Ntilikina in the EuroLeague and gives him a new opportunity with one of France’s most ambitious clubs.
Valencia have agreed to sign Finnish forward Elias Valtonen on a non-guaranteed deal that could run through the end of the 2026-27 season, pending ratification. Valtonen arrives from Granada as a free agent after two seasons with the Spanish club.

INSIDER DESK: Olympiacos closing in on Mbaye Ndiaye
Olympiacos are reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Asvel for Mbaye Ndiaye, according to Chema de Lucas. The Greek club is prepared to pay the Senegalese forward’s buyout, with the fee reportedly set at €400,000.
The development comes just hours after reports emerged that Asvel could sell Ndiaye despite extending his contract through 2029 earlier this summer. The 27-year-old forward has attracted significant interest and now appears increasingly likely to leave Villeurbanne.
Ndiaye spent the 2025-26 season as an important part of Asvel’s rotation, averaging 7.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in the EuroLeague.

Partizan president Ostoja Mijailovic has revealed that Nick Weiler-Babb was offered to the Serbian club this summer.
Speaking to Kurir, the Partizan president explained that the club evaluated the German guard but ultimately decided he did not fit its plans for the upcoming season.
“There is one thing the public needs to know here: not every player that a portal reports as being in negotiations with Partizan was actually in negotiations. Here is a specific example. Nick Weiler-Babb was offered to us. We looked at the player and decided that he did not fit our vision.”
