TOP STORY: Zach LeDay officially joins Hapoel Tel Aviv on two-year deal
Zach LeDay has officially joined Hapoel Tel Aviv, signing a two-year contract with the Israeli club.
The veteran forward parted ways with Milano yesterday after spending the past two seasons with the Italian powerhouse, and it was only a matter of time before Hapoel Tel Aviv confirmed his arrival.
During the 2025/26 EuroLeague season, the 32-year-old averaged 13.1 points and 4.2 rebounds in 30 appearances while shooting an outstanding 49.5% from three-point range, one of the best marks among forwards in the competition.
LeDay expressed his excitement after completing the move to Hapoel Tel Aviv.
“I am incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunity to join Hapoel Tel Aviv. From the very beginning, I felt the ambition of this club and the belief in what we are building together. I can’t wait to get to work, represent this organization and compete in front of our amazing fans. Let’s chase greatness together and make history. Yalla Hapoel.”
Throughout his professional career, LeDay has also played for Partizan, Zalgiris, Olympiacos, Hapoel Eilat, and Milano, establishing himself as one of the most consistent forwards in European basketball.

TRANSFERS & MOVES: Fenerbahce makes two moves, Xavi Pascual joins Dubai, Josh Nebo leaves Milano
Today’s EuroLeague transfer market was somewhat quieter compared to the previous few days.
Besides Zach LeDay’s move to Hapoel Tel Aviv, the biggest story of the day was Xavi Pascual’s official departure from Barcelona. Shortly after leaving the Catalan club, Pascual was unveiled as the new head coach of Dubai, signing a three-year contract.
Although Pascual only took charge of Barcelona after the start of last season and was expected to remain with the club for a longer period, disagreements with the front office ultimately led to his departure after less than a full season. He now begins a new chapter with Dubai, where he will look to build on the club’s recent success and establish it as a EuroLeague contender.
Fenerbahce was undoubtedly the busiest club on the transfer market today, completing two additions to its roster. The Turkish champions first announced the return of Sertac Sanli, who has signed a one-year contract with the club. The experienced Turkish center returns to Fenerbahce after previously wearing the team’s jersey earlier in his career.
Shortly afterward, Fenerbahce unveiled another new signing, Ignas Sargiunas. The Lithuanian guard arrives after the biggest achievement of his career, helping Rytas capture the FIBA Champions League title last season. Sargiunas has signed a 2+1-year contract with the Turkish powerhouse and will now make the jump to the EuroLeague
Milano also officially announced the departure of Josh Nebo, bringing an end to the center’s two-year spell with the Italian club. Nebo is widely expected to become Barcelona’s newest signing in the coming days, with the move believed to be only awaiting official confirmation.
The 2024 EuroLeague Rebounds Leader arrived in Milano with high expectations, but persistent injury problems throughout his two seasons with the club prevented him from making the impact many had anticipated. As a result, his time in Italy came to an end without leaving the mark both the player and the club had hoped for.

INSIDER DESK: Will Clyburn reportedly close to joining Fenerbahce
As things currently stand, Will Clyburn is expected to remain in the EuroLeague next season. According to multiple reports, the veteran forward is close to reaching an agreement with Fenerbahce.
If the deal is completed, Fenerbahce would add yet another experienced player to its roster, reuniting Clyburn with former Anadolu Efes teammate Shane Larkin.
Clyburn spent last season with Barcelona, where he proved he still has plenty to offer despite being 36 years old. In 33 EuroLeague appearances, he averaged 13.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game.
Before joining Barcelona, Clyburn also played for Virtus, Anadolu Efes, CSKA Moscow, Darussafaka, Hapoel Holon, and Ulm. His greatest career achievement came in 2019, when he led CSKA Moscow to the EuroLeague title and was named the Final Four MVP.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: Zeljko Obradovic opens up on Panathinaikos return, Partizan exit and future ambitions
Zeljko Obradovic gave his first interview since returning to Panathinaikos, speaking with OnSports about several interesting topics surrounding his comeback to the Greek powerhouse.
Although he parted ways with Partizan after the recently concluded season, Obradovic had nothing but positive words for the Serbian club, explaining that he enjoyed his time in Belgrade.
“I spent seven years at Fenerbahce and then another four and a half wonderful years at my club, Partizan. I truly enjoyed that time. What happened, happened. Whether the past was good or bad, you always have to look toward the future. I’ll do everything I can to make this a great experience.”
Obradović also explained how the agreement with Panathinaikos came together and revealed that he had decided not to consider other coaching opportunities before the summer.
“Back in November, I told my agent – who is first of all my friend—that I didn’t want to hear anything about another coaching job until June. That’s exactly how it happened. Then I met with Dimitris and we talked. Of course, the fact that I spent 13 years here played a role. In my heart, I never really left.”
The Serbian coach also admitted that he was not actively thinking about a return to Panathinaikos.
“I never think that way. I was very happy at Partizan. Then you make a decision, and you live with it.”
