TOP STORY: Real Madrid adds new face to their frontcourt rotation
Real Madrid have added another new face to their roster, reaching an agreement with Olivier Sarr on a two-year contract. The 27-year-old arrives after spending the majority of his professional career in the United States, where he played in the NBA and G League, marking this his first opportunity to play in EuroLeague.
His NBA journey included appearances for the Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Sarr spent the majority of the 2025-26 season with Raptors 905, appearing in 39 games and averaging 11.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. He also suited up for the Cleveland Charge on eight occasions, where his production increased significantly. Sarr averaged 15.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists during that stint.
At NBA level, his opportunities were more limited. He played four games last season, recording averages of 3.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
TRANSFERS & MOVES: Nobel Boungou-Colo returns to Paris
Nobel Boungou-Colo has returned to Paris, rejoining the club he represented from 2019 to 2021 during their time in second division of French basketball. At 38, the experienced forward will suit up for preseason and the start of the regular season before transitioning into his first managerial role within the organization.

INSIDER DESK: Asvel active in the transfer market
Following a series of departures involving players who were expected to suit up for the team next season, Asvel has begun adding reinforcements, with Marc-Owen Fodzo Dada potentially being the latest addition, according to BeBasket.
The 19-year-old guard, who previously played for Nancy, originally planned to continue his career in the NCAA, but failed to obtain the necessary eligibility, forcing him back onto the French market.
Asvel will have to pay a buyout to Nancy for his services, but the move would address a specific need in Tony Parker’s roster construction, as the team currently has only three locally trained players and still needs to strengthen its perimeter rotation.

Keenan Evans, who has endured a difficult past two seasons, admitted he always dreamt about coming back to Zalgiris.
