In EuroLeague Fantasy, it is not always best to go for the biggest stars. Instead, finding players who offer the best value for money can be the key.
That is why players who regularly get 20 or more minutes on the court while taking up only a 9 or less credits of the budget are particularly interesting. These players can be crucial when building a strong team, as they leave enough room in the budget for a few premium options.
1. Joel Parra – Forward – 6.8 credits
Joel Parra is set to embark on his fourh season in a Barcelona jersey, stepping into what could be his true breakout campaign on the EuroLeague stage.
In his previous two years at the club, Parra’s fantasy value remained muted primarily due to a logjam on the wings, sharing floor time with established EuroLeague superstars like Will Clyburn and Tornike Shengelia.
With both Clyburn and Shengelia departing over the summer, the door has opened wide for Parra to claim a far more prominent role in Aleksander Sekulic’s rotation.
While Barcelona brought in fresh talent at the forward spot during the offseason, none of the newcomers possess EuroLeague experience, giving Parra a clear advantage in terms of tactical familiarity and trust.
Expect Parra to be one of Barcelona’s primary stabilizer options early in the season while the new squad integrates. His expanded workload should easily push his court time past the 20-minute mark, making him an absolute locked-in value play at a dirt-cheap price.
2. Kevarrius Hayes – Center – 7.1 credits
Kevarrius Hayes arrives at Partizan after a solid stint with Monaco, stepping into what looks like one of the most intriguing value situations on the EuroLeague Fantasy market. Remarkably, despite being widely projected to serve as Partizan’s primary starter in the frontcourt, Hayes carries the lowest price tag among all three centers on Partizan’s roster.
Operating largely as a high-energy backup to Daniel Theis last season in Monaco, Hayes proved to be an exceptionally efficient per-minute producer. In just 17 minutes per game across 35 appearances, he averaged 6.3 points and 3.4 rebounds while maintaining a steady PIR of 7.2.
His fantasy appeal lies in his low-mistake, high-activity profile – he relies heavily on elite rim protection, offensive rebounding, and explosive finishing off pick-and-rolls, attributes that rarely generate negative fantasy points through forced shots or excessive turnovers.
At a budget-friendly price, Hayes offers a remarkably high floor with considerable room for upside.
3. Lamar Stevens – Forward – 8.3 credits
Lamar Stevens enters the new EuroLeague season as one of the most intriguing high-upside budget targets on the market. Arriving in Europe directly from the NBA to join Paris last year, he was expected to instantly command a major role in their aggressive rotation.
Injuries ended up derailing a large portion of his debut European campaign, keeping him from consistently locking in his signature rhythm. Despite the setbacks, his raw baseline production was clearly visible – posting 9.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and an 8.0 PIR in roughly 20 minutes across 23 EuroLeague appearances.
Partizan pounced on his potential during the summer, securing his signature to bolster their physical forward presence. With his high-motor athletic profile, elite multi-positional defensive versatility, and relentless rim-attacking ability, Stevens is set to step into a core rotation role in Belgrade.
At a price tag that low, he offers a rare mix of high-volume physical tools and multi-category fantasy upside that makes him a prime candidate for a breakout campaign.
4. Yam Madar – Guard – 8.7 credits
There was a real transfer saga surrounding Yam Madar over the summer. After leaving Hapoel Tel Aviv, he had offers from Maccabi Tel Aviv as well as from colleges, but ultimately decided to accept the Yellows’ offer and sign a three-year contract.
This season, he is expected to be one of the team’s leaders in the backcourt and help Maccabi Tel Aviv push for a playoff spot after two disappointing years.
Unlike high-priced superstars, Madar offers a rare path to a 20+ minute role at a fraction of the cost.
Given his dynamic pick-and-roll creation, active perimeter defense, and knack for generating steals, he provides a reliable foundation for fantasy rosters looking to free up salary for elite options.
5. Derrick Alston Jr. – Forward – 8.2 credits
Derrick Alston Jr. proved last season that he is much more than just a scoring threat, quickly establishing himself as one of Virtus’ most reliable, stat-sheet-stuffing contributors. His ability to produce across multiple categories makes him an exceptionally dependable floor-setter for EuroLeague Fantasy.
Heading into the new campaign, Alston’s responsibility is set to grow significantly. On a restructured and somewhat modest Virtus roster, he is positioned as a primary offensive focal point expected to take on a key leadership role.
His initial price tag of 8.4 credits presents genuine value for a player projected to log heavy 20+ minute workloads, but patience could yield an even better entry point.
Virtus faces a brutal gauntlet over the first five rounds, which could temporarily suppress his PIR outputs and drive his price down further. Monitoring his usage early on and targeting him right as that initial schedule softens could offer one of the highest value-to-cost ratios in the game.
