Every EuroLeague season produces a few players who take a major step forward, moving from supporting roles into leadership positions on their teams.
From a Fantasy perspective, these are usually some of the most valuable players, as their prices can rise significantly throughout the season. That is why we have picked out the names we believe could make their big breakout this season.
1. Azuolas Tubelis – Forward – 11.1 credits
Despite losing key offensive drivers like Sylvain Francisco and Moses Wright, Zalgiris managed to put together a remarkably strong roster over the summer off-season. At the heart of their updated plans is forward Azuolas Tubelis, who remains with the Kaunas club and looks primed to elevate his game to a whole new level this year.
Tubelis ended last season in blistering form, serving as a critical engine during Zalgiris’s run to the Lithuanian League title. That momentum carried directly into the international break, where he asserted himself as a key leader for the Lithuanian national team with a string of impressive summer performances.
At 11.0 credits, Tubelis offers high upside relative to his initial price tag. With a larger share of responsibilities available following roster turnover, expect his role and overall usage to expand significantly. Pick him early, as his production level makes him a strong candidate for steady fantasy point returns, and his market value should rise consistently as the season progresses.
2. Duane Washington – Guard – 10.1 credits
After spending two seasons with Partizan, Duane Washington opted for a change of scenery this summer by signing with Bayern. His spell in Belgrade was defined by noticeable ups and downs, but his time there reinforced one undeniable fact: when rhythm finds him, he is an elite offensive threat with explosive scoring ability.
It would be no surprise to see Washington finish near the top of the EuroLeague scoring charts this season. To thrive consistently, he requires a system where he operates as a primary option with freedom to create with the ball in his hands – a role Bayern looks ready to hand him in their dynamic backcourt scheme.
At a starting price of 10.1 credits, Washington represents an intriguing value pick for fantasy managers seeking top-tier scoring upside. As he settles into his leading role in Munich, his production should steadily rise, driving his fantasy value and credit price upward as the campaign unfolds.
3. Yam Madar – Guard – 8.8 credits
There was plenty of drama surrounding Yam Madar over the summer. After departing Hapoel Tel Aviv, the talented playmaker fielded interest from several quarters, including NCAA college programs and Maccabi Tel Aviv, before ultimately opting to stay in Israel and simply switch jersey colors.
Madar received a warm welcome upon joining Maccabi Tel Aviv, where expectations are high for him to step up as one of the key backcourt leaders this season. Having competed in the EuroLeague for several years, he has consistently showcased potential without fully taking that final leap into elite guard territory.
At a budget-friendly 8.8 credits, Madar carries significant upside for fantasy managers seeking value in the backcourt. With a designated leadership role and an offense tailored to his playmaking strengths, this could finally be the campaign where he completes his development and delivers consistent fantasy returns.
4. Joel Parra – Forward – 7.0 credits
Joel Parra is entering his fourth season in a Barcelona, and the surrounding circumstances have never looked better for him to step into a prominent role. With high-profile departures like Will Clyburn and Tornike Shengelia leaving the frontcourt over the summer, significant opportunities and minutes have opened up at his position.
Although Barcelona brought in a few new additions in the frontcourt during the offseason, none of the newcomers possess prior EuroLeague experience. That gives Parra a huge head start in terms of familiarity and comfort, making him an ideal anchor for the team during the early adjustment period. Expect Parra to emerge as one of Barcelona’s main contributors early in the season while helping his new teammates settle in.
Available at a bargain price of 7.0 credits, he stands out as a genuine must-have fantasy selection who could easily double down on that investment – do not be surprised if his market value approaches 10.0 credits by the end of the campaign.
5. Eugene Omoruyi – Forward – 10.5 credits
EuroLeague returnees Besiktas have assembled a solid roster for their inaugural campaign in top-flight European basketball. Among their marquee summer additions is former Baskonia forward Eugene Omoruyi, who steps into a major role with the Dusan Alimpijevic’s team.
Omoruyi has already put his mark on the team during preseason preparations, posting impressive statistical lines that hint at him becoming a focal point of their system. He is slated to be the starter at power forward for Besiktas, with the flexibility to log meaningful minutes at center depending on game matchups.
At a price tag of 10.5 credits, Omoruyi stands out as a fair and highly attractive option for fantasy managers seeking multi-positional frontcourt value. Given his physical interior presence, his price point should steadily trend upward once the regular season gets underway.
