Everything you need to know about Paris ahead of the 2026/27 EuroLeague Fantasy season and which players could provide the most value.
Paris are entering their third season in the EuroLeague, and in that short period they have managed to win over basketball fans across Europe with their unique style of play. Although they have had three different head coaches over those three years, their playing philosophy has remained unchanged.
Hockey-style substitutions, an extremely fast pace and high-scoring games are the main characteristics of this team. Tiago Splitter led them in their first season, followed by Francesco Tabellini and Julius Thomas last year, while the head coaching job has been handed to Maxime Lefevre this season. He is a French coach who will be taking charge of a professional team as a head coach for the first time.
Nadir Hifi will once again be the team’s leader, adding something new to his basketball arsenal with every season. We are eagerly looking forward to seeing him in action this season. Aside from Hifi, Paris have assembled a fairly deep roster of borderline EuroLeague players, so we do not expect them to achieve any particularly notable results this season beyond developing their young players.
Expected Rotation
| Position | Starter | Main backup | Rotation |
|---|---|---|---|
| PG | Nadir Hifi | Tyson Etienne | Frank Ntilikina |
| SG | Jared Rhoden | Sebastian Herrera | Terry Tarpey |
| SF | T.J. Warren | Maozinha Pereira | Daulton Hommes |
| PF | Alize Johnson | Amath M’Baye | Jeremy Morgan |
| C | Allan Dokossi | Mouhamed Faye | Leopold Cavaliere |
Paris constructed a streamlined summer roster centered around star guard Nadir Hifi. Their primary strategy focused on acquiring high-upside players operating on the fringes of EuroLeague rotation, emphasizing versatility and raw physical capacity over marquee name recognition.
This recruitment strategy yields a highly athletic core designed to excel in positionless basketball. The benefits will be most pronounced along the forwards, where head coach Maxime Lefevre inherits an exceptionally flexible rotational pool.
With a deep stable of interchangeable forward defenders and dynamic multi-positional athletes, Lefevre gains extensive tactical adaptability, allowing Paris to cycle through diverse lineup combinations, adjust matching schemes on the fly, and maintain a high-tempo, switch-heavy defensive identity throughout the grueling season.
The Fantasy Star
Nadir Hifi – Guard – 14.8 credits
Nadir Hifi stands as the unquestioned focal point of Paris’ offense. Following T.J. Shorts’ departure last year, Hifi fully inherited the keys to the system, naturally boosting his already elite usage rate. Having set the EuroLeague regular-season scoring record last year with 699 total points, his offensive trajectory and central role make him the team’s top fantasy asset.
Expect Hifi to log heavy volume as the primary facilitator and dominant shot-creator. His Fantasy value relies heavily on scoring volume and foul-drawing capability. Because he drives aggressively and forces defenses into compromise, his high free-throw attempt rate provides a reliable scoring cushion on nights when his perimeter jumper struggles. While he is not a great rebounder, his secondary playmaking yields solid assist numbers that pad his statistical box score.
His PIR production will lean somewhat on shot efficiency, but his sheer volume creates a high fantasy floor around 12–14 PIR even during off-shooting games. When his pull-up jumper lands, his ceiling easily clears 25+ PIR, making him a candidate for regular 20+ PIR outings.
At 14.8 credits, he requires significant budget allocation, but his guaranteed usage and elite scoring role justify the premium investment.
Best Value Pick
T.J. Warren – Forward – 11.5 credits
Evaluating player valuation in EuroLeague Fantasy often relies on identifying market mispricing. Priced at a modest 11.5 credits, NBA veteran T.J. Warren represents an exceptional value proposition with explosive upside. Spending the last few seasons in the G League, Warren signed with Paris to secure a prominent focal role overseas.
His ceiling remains tied to his elite three-level scoring, showcased during his legendary 2020 bubble run. Despite early adaptation hurdles, particularly navigating tighter European officiating on defense compared to American standards, his offensive opportunities will be plentiful.
In the EuroLeague Fantasy, player values adjust dynamically based on game-by-game performance against starting price tags. Warren possesses a straightforward path toward producing a regular 14+ PIR outings.
This creates a massive discrepancy between his actual fantasy output and initial cost. Selecting him early allows managers to exploit his high ceiling, generate rapid capital growth for their team budget as his price climbs, and bank consistent perimeter production.
The Sleeper
Alize Johnson – Forward – 9.8 credits
Identifying sleeper picks requires digging deeper into depth charts for high-upside differentials that general managers overlook. In a Paris squad saturated with fringe EuroLeague talent, Alize Johnson stands out as an good differential pick priced at 9.8 credits.
Johnson carries massive upside due to his versatile skill set and physical profile. Capable of playing both forward and center positions, he brings extraordinary glass-cleaning activity to a high-tempo Paris system built on maximum possessions. Beyond raw rebounding volume, Johnson possesses secondary playmaking ability. His passing resulted in near triple-double performances during his stints in Puerto Rico and the G League.
His low initial ownership rate makes him a ideal target for Fantasy players seeking leverage in competitive leagues. While adapting to European tactical setups and spatial constraints presents an initial challenge, his position flexibility ensures he can capture heavy minutes across multiple rotation lineups.
If Johnson settles comfortably into head coach Maxime Lefevre’s system, his stat-sheet stuffing capacity across points, rebounds, and assists will yield a PIR output far exceeding his sub-10 credit price tag. Monitor his early-season minute distribution closely; he offers league-winning upside as an aggressive budget pick.
The Trap
Frank Ntilikina – Guard – 7.8 credits
Every fantasy season features popular names whose real-world utility fails to translate into fantasy production. Priced at 7.8 credits, Frank Ntilikina represents a classic trap option for managers enticed by his NBA profile and high-profile reputation.
While Ntilikina remains an elite perimeter stopper, his primary responsibilities in Paris will center on locking down the opponent’s top guard threat rather than generating box-score statistics. His fantasy value is severely restricted by a minimal offensive usage rate, as he will largely function as a floor-spacer tasked with knocking down the occasional open spot-up jumper.
Furthermore, Paris’s backcourt rotation is heavily crowded. Primary offensive engine Hifi and dynamic guard Tyson Etienne – viewed internally as the key replacement for Justin Robinson – will absorb the vast majority of ball-handling duties, scoring opportunities, and playmaking reps.
Without consistent access to high usage, assist volume, or trips to the free-throw line, Ntilikina’s PIR floor remains dangerously low. Defensive contributions like deflections and ball pressure rarely yield sufficient fantasy points in standard EuroLeague scoring systems to justify even a modest credit investment.
