    EuroLeague clubs are well into their preparations for the new season of the competition, which is now just around the corner.

    On Tuesday, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Besiktas were both in action in friendly games, with both teams securing victories.

    Maccabi Tel Aviv beats Maccabi Rishon LeZion

    Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated Maccabi Rishon LeZion 95-81 in a preseason game at Hadar Yosef, bouncing back from their previous loss to Bnei Herzliya.

    Roman Sorkin led Maccabi Tel Aviv with 19 points and five rebounds, while Jaylen Hoard and Oshae Brissett added 12 points each. Keaton Wallace and Shane Hunter scored 10 apiece, with Bonzie Colson finishing with eight points.

    Yam Madar contributed seven points in his first appearance for Maccabi Tel Aviv, while Daniel Theis also made his debut and scored four points.

    Besiktas beats CSKA Moscow

    Besiktas continued their preparations for the new EuroLeague season with an 80-57 victory over CSKA Moscow in Antalya as part of the Gloria Cup.

    Anthony Brown led Besiktas with 16 points, followed by Ante Zizic with 15 and David DeJulius with 12. Conor Morgan scored eight, while DaQuan Jeffries added seven.

    Besiktas scorers: Brown 16, Zizic 15, DeJulius 12, Morgan 8, Jeffries 7, Wilbekin 6, Dotson 5, Gabriel 4, Omoruyi 3, Nowell 2, Birsen 2.

    The game also saw Eugene Omoruyi involved in an altercation with CSKA Moscow’s Ivan Ukhov in the fourth quarter, with both players eventually ejected after the incident.
