Sylvain Francisco – Over 16.5 points Odds: 2.00
Zalgiris has a great opportunity to secure another home win in front of their fans, this time against Hapoel Tel Aviv. Sylvain Francisco is having an outstanding season and is one of the top performers in the entire EuroLeague. He consistently plays at a high level and is clearly the number one option for Zalgiris, the player who initiates everything on the offensive end for the Lithuanian side. In his last six EuroLeague games, he has surpassed this points line five times. On the other side is Hapoel Tel Aviv, currently in a deep slump, so we expect Francisco to take advantage and once again clear the set scoring threshold.
Vasilije Micic – Under 10.5 points Odds: 1.87
Hapoel Tel Aviv is going through major struggles lately and heads to Kaunas on a five-game losing streak across all competitions. Vasilije Micic, who arrived last summer as a marquee signing for the Israeli club, has shown very little so far. Israeli media have increasingly reported tensions between Micic and the coaching staff. He is in poor form, playing fewer and fewer minutes, and with Elijah Bryant returning to the lineup, Micic’s role is expected to shrink even further. For that reason, our pick is that he will not surpass the set points line.
Baskonia no longer has realistic chances of advancing to the next phase, but it’s clear they will try to make things difficult for many teams until the end of the season. Markus Howard has struggled with injuries for much of the campaign and missed a significant number of games. However, since returning to the floor at the end of January, he has been delivering strong performances. He has played five games across all competitions and failed to surpass the set line only once, when he finished with 11 points. Baskonia relies heavily on his scoring ability, so even against Monaco, who are currently in a deep slump, we expect him to have a major offensive role and clear the given points threshold.
Wade Baldwin – Under 14.5 points Odds: 1.87
Fenerbahce, riding an impressive 11-game winning streak across all competitions, travels to face Panathinaikos. The Athens side has been struggling with form lately, and it’s reasonable to expect a strong response in this matchup, particularly on the defensive end of the floor. Wade Baldwin has been one of Fenerbahce’s key players this season, but recently he hasn’t been as productive offensively by his standards. He has surpassed this scoring line only once in his last five EuroLeague games. We expect him to face a very tough challenge on the road against Panathinaikos and believe he will not clear the set points threshold.
Partizan, who has been playing very well lately, will now host Real Madrid and try to snap the Spanish club’s eight-game winning streak in their head-to-head matchups. Duane Washington returned from injury in the ABA League game against Dubai and immediately exploded for 33 points. With Cameron Payne almost certainly sidelined for this matchup, Washington is expected to take on a major offensive role once again. Our pick is that he will score more than 15 points in this game.
