The EuroLeague discpilinary committee has sanctioned Partizan for their controversial banner display against Fenerbahce in Round 12.
In their regular statement, which comes after every round, the EuroLeague discipline committee put out a statement in which they announced the fine that Partizan will have to pay after displaying a banner which upset Fenerbahce and the fans, along with having a reduced capacity for their next home game. We broadcast the statement, in full, without alterations:
“Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade has been sanctioned with fines amounting to €40,000, and a game to be played at a limited 80% of its capacity, including the closing of specific sectors, for multiple incidents generated by its fans during the game Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade – Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, under Article 29.1.f), and 29.2.g) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code. The arena capacity limitation is conditionally suspended during the 2025-26 season in accordance with Article 8 of the Disciplinary Code, and will be executed in the event of the club committing a new infringement of Article 29.1.f)”
Partizan’s next home game in the EuroLeague will be on December 5th against Bayern Munich in Round 14, with the game scheduled to tip-off at 20:30.
