Olympiacos played this game with only ten players, without Tyler Dorsey, who injured his foot in the game against Crvena zvezda, without Thomas Walkup, who was given a rest, as well as without Tyrique Jones, Monte Morris, Giannoulis Larentzakis, Shaquille McKissic, Keenan Evans and Cory Joseph.

Olympiacos played an excellent first quarter, fueled by Evan Fournier, who scored 12 points in the opening period alone, and the visiting team finished the first ten minutes with the same margin (11–23).
In the second quarter, the players of Iraklis put up strong resistance, not allowing the visitors to build a more significant lead. Although they won the second quarter, they went into halftime trailing by just six points (36–42). In the remainder of the game, the visiting team controlled both the play and the score, hardly giving their opponent even the slightest chance to get back into the contest. In the end, Olympiacos defeated Iraklis 70–95.
The most efficient player on the winning team was Evan Fournier with 32 points in as many minutes on the court (9/11 from two-point range, 4/10 from three), followed by Sasha Vezenkov with 21 points and 7 rebounds, as well as Alec Peters with 19 points. For Iraklis, Justin Adler Davis stood out with 17 points, along with DJ Funderburk who added 14 points.
A surprise was the fact that Frank Ntilikina took a spot in the squad for today’s game, especially considering that he had missed the previous seven games and only played in the last one, in which Olympiacos defeated Crvena zvezda at home in the EuroLeague.
The French guard had been completely left off the list of players eligible to play in the Greek league. Reportedly, the “red and whites” intended to part ways with him entirely. However, it seems the situation is different, and that coach Georgios Bartzokas wants him back on the roster, particularly after another injury to a player from the team’s backcourt — this time Cory Joseph.
Olympiacos will play their next game in three days as part of the Greek Cup, where they will face Athens-based AEK in the quarterfinals of the competition.
