Fenerbahce announced publicly that they have extended the contract of current head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius for the next three years.
Sarunas Jasikevicius came in and took over Fenerbahce in the middle of the 2023–24 season after impressive stints in Zalgiris and Barcelona, doing so after the departure of current Hapoel Tel Aviv head coach Dimitris Itoudis. He has since led the team to the EuroLeague Final Four in both years, as well as guiding Fenerbahce to only their second EuroLeague title last season.
Over the past two seasons, he has also led Fenerbahce to two Turkish Super League titles as well as two Turkish Cups, and it seems as if all of these accomplishments have firmly placed him Fenerbahce’s history books as one of the greatest coaches the club has ever had.
Şimdi yeni zaferler için hep birlikte mücadele etme zamanı! 💛💙
