Fenerbahce easily defeated Galatasaray 94-70 at home in the final round of the Turkish Super League regular season.
Although the game had no impact on Fenerbahce’s standings, they approached it with full seriousness and had no trouble overcoming their biggest rival.
From the start, it was clear that the home team was fully motivated and focused. Early in the second quarter, they built a double-digit lead and set the tone for the rest of the game. By halftime, Fenerbahce’s advantage kept growing, and with the scoreboard showing 53-32 at the break, the outcome was already decided. The hosts controlled the game with ease until the final buzzer and secured a well-deserved win.
Tarik Biberovic led Fenerbahce with 16 points, while Wade Baldwin added 15. Marko Guduric also stood out with 14 points. For Galatasaray, Ahmet Tuncer was the top scorer with 15 points.
Sarunas Jasikevicius’ team finished the regular season in first place with a record of 27 wins and three losses. Galatasaray, on the other hand, ended in ninth place with 14 wins and 15 losses. They will play one more game this season, on Tuesday, when they host Anadolu Efes.
