Fenerbahce statement regarding the Partizan fans’ banner

“This banner was already there when we practised. We made the necessary complaints to the local authorities, but they still allowed it to remain in the stands. We met with the authorities after the game and asked for an explanation. We will submit our complaint to the relevant authorities tomorrow, but the players gave the best response on the court. Hopefully, we will host them warmly in the rematch as well.”

Fenerbahce published this statement on their official website, and whether there will be any sanctions for the Serbian club remains to be seen.
