Olympiacos defeated Maroussi in the Greek Basketball League, and head coach Georgios Bartzokas spoke after the game.
Following a game in which his team scored 104 points and secured a very dominant win over Maroussi, Bartzokas expressed his satisfaction.
On the progress of Tyrique Jones:
“It’s clear that the team is improving through better cooperation on both defense and offense. We still have a lot of room for improvement, and this win is not a true measure of our level. It’s important for us to remain consistent over a longer period of time.”
On Frank Ntilikina’s injury:
“The doctor told us not to use him. He wanted to play, but after returning from injury and considering the EuroLeague double week, we limited his minutes. We have to take care of all our players, especially when we don’t have enough time to practice.”
On Monte Morris’ recovery:
“His rehabilitation is going well. He’s working hard in the gym, and there is a possibility that he could return earlier than initially expected. We’ll take it day by day.”
