Hapoel Tel Aviv continue to make major moves ahead of their EuroLeague debut, announcing the signing of Tomas Satoransky on a one-year contract.
The Israeli club has been extremely active on the transfer market, with Satoransky becoming their third signing in just three days after previously adding Khadeen Carrington and Zach LeDay.
Satoransky arrives after four seasons with Barcelona
The experienced Czech guard joins Hapoel after spending the previous four seasons with Barcelona, where he became one of the team’s most important leaders.
During his second spell with the Catalan giants, Satoransky helped Barcelona win the 2023 Liga Endesa title. He originally played for the club between 2014 and 2016, before returning in 2022 after several years in the NBA.
The 34-year-old started his European career with USK Praha and Sevilla, before making the move to Barcelona and eventually becoming an NBA player.

During the 2025/26 EuroLeague season with Barcelona, Satoransky appeared in 37 games, averaging 7.0 points, 4.3 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game.
Hapoel Tel Aviv building a EuroLeague roster
Satoransky is the latest addition to an ambitious Hapoel Tel Aviv project ahead of the upcoming EuroLeague campaign.
So far this offseason, the club has added Tomas Satoransky, Zach LeDay, Khadeen Carrington and Amir Coffey.
Hapoel have also secured the futures of several key players by extending contracts with Tai Odiase, Dan Oturu, Antonio Blakeney, Ish Wainright and Elijah Bryant.
Meanwhile, the team has already seen several departures, including Chris Jones, who joined Crvena Zvezda, Yam Madar, who moved to Maccabi Tel Aviv, Kessler Edwards, who signed with Virtus, and Levi Randolph.
Another major change could be coming soon, as Johnathan Motley is reportedly expected to leave Hapoel Tel Aviv and could follow Jones to Crvena Zvezda. All Hapoel Tel Aviv roster moves can be followed on the EuroLeague Transactions tracker.
