NBA franchises are monitoring Isaac Bonga and Alpha Diallo

Partizan blocks Bonga’s NBA return

Despite concrete interest from multiple NBA franchises, Partizan stood firm and refused to negotiate, prioritizing stability during a crucial stretch of the season.

“Isaac Bonga was very close to an NBA transfer after attracting significant interest from several teams. However, since his contract (which runs until 2027) does not include an in-season exit clause, Partizan blocked the move, choosing to keep one of their key players during a difficult part of the season. Bonga is not the only EuroLeague standout being monitored. Diallo, one of the leaders of Monaco, has also been approached by NBA teams.

“Under contract with Monaco until 2028, his deal includes an NBA-out clause for the summer. BasketNews sources indicate that at least one NBA team showed serious interest during the 2025/26 season, particularly during a period when Monaco was facing financial uncertainty. However, Diallo ultimately remained with the club.”

Despite their financial situation, Monaco is reportedly not open to letting Diallo join another EuroLeague team, further complicating any potential move within Europe.
