At Panathinaikos, Bonga will reunite with Zeljko Obradovic, the coach who helped transform him into one of the most versatile players in European basketball.
During his time in Belgrade, Bonga developed into a true “Swiss army knife” player – someone capable of defending multiple positions, contributing in different areas of the game, and fitting into any team with championship ambitions.
The German forward also built an excellent relationship with Obradovic, who played a major role in his development during his time at Partizan.
“I know what to expect. Coach knows me well. I believe I’m an even better player now and ready for the next step in my career. Winning games is important, but winning titles is even more important. We have a coach who will bring all of his incredible experience to the team.
