Real Madrid has officially confirmed the signing of power forward Jaime Pradilla on a massive five-year contract, locking down one of Spain’s brightest domestic talents following his €1.5 million buyout from Valencia.
The 25-year-old follows head coach Pedro Martinez to the Spanish capital in a deal rumored to be worth €9.5 million over the next five seasons.
Real Madrid was recently left by Trey Lyles, while rumors of Mario Hezonja potentially returning to the NBA are growing louder, which is why Los Blancos needed a power forward.
Jaime Pradilla averaged 6.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists for Valencia in the EuroLeague, concluding the season with an appearance at the Final Four – the first in the club’s history.
In the Liga Endesa, his production increased further to 10.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists, a campaign that culminated in a Spanish league title.
