Sarunas Jasikevicius was satisfied with his team’s performance after their 99-87 win against Partizan in Round 12 of the EuroLeague.
The head coach of the defending EuroLeague champions knew how important it was for his team to get a big win on the road, and his players did exactly that.
“Congratulations to my players and the fans. This is an important win for us to continue our good stretch. I think the key was an excellent start to the game. We managed to plant doubt in Partizan. I think we played a good game, but defensively we lost control in the third quarter, without the physicality we had in the first. When the crowd here and the quality Partizan has come into play, it becomes anyone’s game. I am very happy with the win.” – the Lithuanian coach began.

“They love me here because I’m friends with Zeljko, and when I go to Crvena zvezda they boo me because I’m friends with Zeljko. A very beautiful moment. I’m grateful for that.” – concluded Jasikevicius.
