Trabzonspor, which will represent Turkey in the FIBA Champions League next season, continues to build its roster for the upcoming campaign. In line with this, the club has made another significant addition to its squad.
Trabzonspor has officially announced the signing of 27-year-old guard JD Notae, who most recently played for Trapani Shark in the Italian Serie A.
The American scorer, who first entered European basketball with Aris Thessaloniki, later moved to Trapani Shark in the Italian league after impressing with his performances.
Notae, who played for Trapani Shark between 2023 and 2026, left the team this season following the club’s financial issues and became a free agent.
In total, JD Notae appeared in 9 games in the Italian league this season, averaging 13.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.
It is true that Marcquise Reed, who wore the Trabzonspor jersey last season and was the MVP of the Turkish Super League, has left the club and joined Bahcesehir, but the impression is that Trabzonspor is doing a very good job this summer and is building a strong team.
The latest addition is Xavier Tillman, who even at NBA level had a solid and respectable career. Before him, Trabzonspor also brought in Shaquille Harrison from Asvel, Yigit Arslan from Besiktas, and Emmanuel Terry from Kawasaki Brave Thunders.
