Joventut comfortably defeated Andorra 101–79 in Round 31 of the Liga Endesa to strengthen their playoff chances.
After an 18-day break and two postponed games, Joventut finally returned to the court and improved to an 18–11 record, good enough for sixth place in the standings.
The home side did exactly what was needed. They narrowly lost the first and third quarters, but completely dominated Andorra in the second and fourth periods. Veteran playmaker Ricky Rubio once again controlled the game in every aspect, and under his leadership the outcome was never really in doubt.

Jabari Parker also delivered a solid performance. The Partizan loanee scored 13 points on excellent shooting efficiency (6-of-8 from the field), while adding two rebounds and committing one foul in 20 minutes. He was not overly flashy, but contributed exactly what the team needed, as Joventut were +15 with him on the floor.
Ricky Rubio led all scorers with 23 points, seven assists and four rebounds, while Cameron Hunt added 14 points. For Andorra, Artem Pustovyi also scored 14.
Joventut will next visit Real Madrid, while Andorra will host Burgos, which pulled off a big victory against Unicaja, toppling the side from Malaga 97-90. This loss officially put Unicaja, at least for the time being, out of the playoff seeds in the Liga Endesa. James Webb III had 25 points for the side of Ibon Navarro, but Raul Neto and Gonzala Corbalan combined for 43 points to spoil Unicaja’s plans, as they fell to 16-15.
