Dubai had a chance to win the game late at the end, but didn’t finish the last minute well and dropped a big chance to get a valuable win on the road against Virtus. Head coach Jurica Golemac lamented the late-game blunders:
“Congratulations to Virtus. The game came down to one possession. In the end, we missed a rebound, committed a turnover, and the win went their way. It was a tough, very physical game, played with a lot of desire and energy. We missed our chance because everything was in our hands. Once again, congrats to Virtus — we move on. This is basketball.”

Dubai’s next game in the EuroLeague will be at home against Bayern at home in Round 15, with the club looking to bounce back and improve their 6-8 record.
