Barcelona have completed their second signing of the offseason, bringing in Justin Robinson from Paris. The American guard arrives after a strong debut campaign in the EuroLeague and joins Olivier Nkamhoua as the club’s latest addition ahead of the new season.
After successfully completing his medical, Justin Robinson expressed his excitement about joining one of the biggest clubs in European basketball. He has signed a contract with Barcelona until 2028.
“It is an honour to have the opportunity to play for an incredible and prestigious club like Barcelona. I’m very grateful and very happy,” Robinson told Barcelona’s official media.
The guard described himself as a player who wants to contribute in every aspect of the game.
“I’m a winner, but above all a leader on and off the court. I want to keep being myself, be consistent, contribute on both offence and defence, and do whatever the team needs to win,” he added.

Justin Robinson impressed in EuroLeague debut with Paris
Robinson earned his move to Barcelona after an excellent first season in Europe’s top competition. With Paris, the American guard averaged 14.6 points, 4.5 assists and a performance index rating of 14.4 across 36 EuroLeague games.
Despite playing a relatively limited role in terms of minutes, Robinson consistently produced at a high level and showed his ability to impact games as a scorer and creator. His efficiency became even more notable considering that he averaged around 15 minutes per game in the EuroLeague.
The guard also delivered several standout performances, including a 35-point, PIR 39 performance against Olympiacos in November, as well as a 25-point, six-assist display that earned him Round 37 MVP honours.
In the LNB Pro A where Paris finished as runners-up, Robinson averaged 12,2 points and 4.3 assists.
Barcelona continues major roster rebuild
Robinson arrives as Barcelona continues a significant offseason reshuffle following a difficult period for the club. The Catalan giants have already seen nine players leave this summer, including Jan Vesely, who retired, as well as Tomas Satoransky, Miles Norris, Myles Cale, Juani Marcos, Willy Hernangomez, Youssoupha Fall, Nicolas Laprovittola and Will Clyburn.
With Robinson and Olivier Nkamhoua as the only additions so far, Barcelona still has plenty of work ahead as the club looks to rebuild its roster ahead of the new campaign. Robinson’s arrival also represents one of the latest EuroLeague transactions as the Catalan giants continue reshaping their team for the upcoming season.
