This is the fifth league semifinal appearance for Juventus, but also their first victory, as they had previously lost all thirteen semifinal games before this one. The Juventus offense is currently operating at a phenomenal level and the team is playing with tremendous confidence. This defeat further complicates the situation for Neptunas because they are fully aware that they are facing a team in excellent form, one capable of punishing nearly every defensive mistake, and Neptunas made far too many of them.
