Kevin Punter will be sidelined for around two weeks after suffering an injury setback in the game against Baskonia.
He picked up the injury during the EuroLeague Round 27 matchup versus Baskonia, a blow that will put Barcelona in a very difficult position.
Kevin Punter has been, alongside Tornike Shengelia, Barcelona’s best player this season, so at least four EuroLeague games without him will represent a major challenge for the team.
This season, the American guard is averaging 15.5 points, along with three assists and 1.8 rebounds per game in the EuroLeague, making him the team’s leading scorer.
At the guard positions, Barcelona will now rely on players such as Dario Brizuela, Nico Laprovittola, Tomas Satoransky and Myles Cale, especially with point guard Juan Núñez also out due to injury.
