“Today is a new day, a new opportunity to improve and continue growing. We have gone through difficult moments, but we have to find a way to move forward.”
The American guard also stressed that the team must approach the game with the right level of intensity.
“We need to play with a sense of urgency for the entire 40 minutes.”
He also pointed out that games against Joventut are always played in a great atmosphere.
Despite recent EuroLeague struggles, Barcelona has been performing well in the domestic competition. The team has won three straight games in the Liga Endesa, which has helped them secure third place in the standings, just one win behind Valencia Basket.
Kevin Punter also warned about the quality of Joventut, especially after the arrival of his former teammate and friend Jabari Parker.
“They have always been a very solid and well coached team. They have players who have competed at a very high level for many years, so we have to respect them.”
He also added that the addition of Jabari Parker has given Joventut even more strength.
“With Jabari they have gained a lot of power.”
